This site provides a unique hangout for like minded blues fans. It was conceived and developed by John Salicco, a Canadian transplant to Tacoma by way of California. John is an instrument maker, performer, writer and principal of The Banjo factory and There was a time, LLC.


As the Blues Hangout develops, this will become a source for information on gigs, bands, clubs, auditions, festivals and anything else in the world having to do with the blues.  Promoting the blues is what the Blues Hangout is all about, so feel free to post photos, original videos and sound clips or just chat. This is a multi-media site and we all want to hear what you're doing... literally!
